Mr. Arun Arora – Chairman
Mr. Arun Arora is the former President and Executive Director of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group) and CEO of The Economic Times. He has had a 35 year long illustrious career in the media and is on the board of several noted companies.
Mr. Arora was involved in setting up several new businesses across media platforms in print, radio, television, music and home entertainment. Brands launched by him include Sony Entertainment Television, Times Music, Zoom, Times Multimedia, Planet M and Remit to India.
He spearheaded the formation of Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with BBC Worldwide to publish Top Gear, Femina, Flimfare etc. He was behind the Times Global Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with Reuters to launch Times Now and ET Now.
In the past, Mr. Arora was CEO of The Times of India, founder CEO of Sony Entertainment Television, Chairman - United News of India, Vice-Chairman - Radio Mirchi and Vice-Chairman - TimesofMoney Ltd., and Board Director Times Bank.
Mr. Arora is a Harvard alumnus, a Chemical Engineer, fellow of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers and Chairman Emeritus - World HR Congress.
Mr. Anshul Arora – Director
Mr. Anshul Arora is co-founder and Director of Edvance Pre-schools, a joint venture with EtonHouse International Education Group to bring world-class early childhood education to India. Prior to starting Edvance Group, he spent the majority of his professional career with McKinsey & Company across their offices in Asia, Europe and USA primarily in the areas of new venture creation, corporate finance and international development.
Mr. Arora helped conceptualise and launch several start-up companies in McKinsey's Accelerators in Singapore and San Francisco in 1999 and 2000. He was also part of McKinsey's Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice where he evaluated high growth companies for Fortune 500 and private equity clients.
He is a regular attendee and speaker at educational forums across the world. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Ranjan Goyal – CEO
Analytical and performance driven, Mr. Ranjan Goyal has 14 years of experience with established companies as well as start-ups. He has a proven record of growing sizeable, profitable businesses in underdeveloped markets and strategising initiatives designed to boost sales, expand business operations and reduce costs.
Mr. Goyal started his career with Blow Plast Ltd., where he established the soft luggage division for Central India. He subsequently moved to Britannia Industries and went on to head operations for Maharashtra and Goa. He was a part of the startup team at Zoom, Times Group's foray into the television broadcasting business, where he was also involved in innovative projects for the print and retail businesses.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Goyal was based at Hong Kong and was heading Strategy and Planning at Emerson Network Power - Asia Pacific, a global Fortune 500 company.
He holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and a BTech from IIT Bombay.
