Ms. Ng Gim Choo – Group Managing Director
Ms. Ng Gim Choo founded EtonHouse in 1995 with the first school at Broadrick. Her motivation to enter the education sector stemmed from her experience in the UK where her children went to pre-schools. She was impressed with the environment of early childhood education in the UK, where her children loved attending school as the emphasis was on play as the central mode of learning. It was the intention to replicate this environment for the children of Singapore that led to the opening of the first school and thereafter expanding EtonHouse schools in Asia.
Prior to setting up EtonHouse, Ms. Ng was an audit manager with Ernst & Young and thereafter a partner in an international audit firm. She has also participated and contributed to several international forums. She was a speaker at the 5th Singapore International Foundation Overseas Conference in Bangkok, as well as a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) Accreditation Team to accredit international schools.
Her professional qualifications include a Master's in Education Management, qualifications in early childhood and professional development experiences in International Baccalaureate and Reggio Emilia settings.
