In our fast-paced urban set up, the family structure is rapidly changing with increase in nuclear families where both parents join the workforce. The need for high quality child care becomes a priority for urban parents. Recognising these urgent needs of young parents, SERRA International has designed an exclusive Child Care Program where our expert care providers create a warm, family environment where your child is observed, encouraged and supported, thereby ensuring you a stress free time at work.

Key characteristics of the program

• Appropriate caregiver-child ratio: In all our centres, the caregiver is responsible for no more than 8 to 10 children, thereby maintaining a healthy adult - child ratio.

• High caregiver qualifications: Our caregivers have specialised in early childhood education development, well trained and are highly experienced in the field.

• Healthy physical setting: Our indoor environment is clean, well ventilated and is divided into richly equipped activity areas. Our outdoor play area has ample space and provides children opportunity to engage in various activities that help support large muscular development.

• Enriching activities: We focus on a child's holistic development through activities like dance and drama, music and movement, art and craft, story telling and puppet shows, and so much more.

• Nutritious and balanced meals: We ensure that the children are provided with a variety of delicious, healthy and home-cooked food.

• Partnering with parents: We endeavour to keep parents informed about their child's routine and progress through the communication book filled in on a daily basis by the caregiver.

At SERRA we are sensitive to your child's growing needs and, hence, have designed the two Child Care programs:

Toddler program: 18 to 36 months

Children in this age group are energetic, enthusiastic and have inquisitive minds. Our program is well designed with activities that stimulate their minds and encourage positive growth. The key element of our program is active learning, whether planned by adults or initiated by children.

Pre-schooler program: 3 to 6 years

Children in this age group are endless explorers who need an environment that challenges and excites their minds. Our well-developed, comprehensive program boosts self-confidence and creates a lifelong love for learning. Adult child interaction is the process of working alongside children and communicating with them verbally and non-verbally to encourage learning. Key strategy for child-adult interaction is sharing control with children.
